La determinazione con la quale protestano dei giovani dissidenti contro il governo rafforza la speranza che la dittatura in Bielorussia possa crollare. Un gruppo di studenti, con i loro professori e altri cittadini, diventano attivi nella loro opposizione al governo di Lukashenko, presidente dal 1995. Quando, dopo aver modificato la costituzione, Lukashenko cerca di farsi rieleggere nel 2006, scoppia una protesta in piazza. Vediamo i giovani piantare una tendopoli, li vediamo resistere ad una tempesta di neve e al freddo. Ma non possono resistere al brutale attacco della polizia che li picchia, li trascina via e li arresta insieme a centinaia di cittadini. Come dimostra il documentario, loro ritornano a lottare per un futuro diverso.
The determination shown by these young protesters raises the hope that dictatorship in Belarus might end. A group of students, together with their professors and other citizens, actively oppose Lukashenko, president since 1995. When Lukashenko tries to get re-elected in 2006 after changing the constitution, a street protest bursts out. The film shows the students as they build a camp in the streets and resist a blizzard. But they cannot oppose the brutal attack of the police, who beats them up and arrests them together with hundreds of citizens. As the documentary proves, they will get back to fight for a different future anyway.
