For the nostalgic lovers of the genuine West Coast, this documentary is an accurate biography of the Minutemen from their beginnings in San Pedro (L.A., California). One of the most influential and complex bands in the early '80s, the band (formed by Daniel Boon, Mike Watt and George Hurley) negotiated hardcore impulses with jazz-funk, punk-rock, country-blues and folk influences. Their demise came with the death of singer/guitarist D. Boon in 1985.
