Un poliziotto entra in una casa popolare, trova un cadavere e dei nastri super8 e ne racconta il loro ritrovamento ad un registratore. Nel frattempo, sullo schermo scorrono immagini familiari, sulle prime non identificate, poi sempre più pregne di senso. Il cortometraggio gioca abilmente sulla progressiva corrispondenza tra parole e immagini, costruendo un legame sempre più forte tra ciò che lo spettatore ascolta - la storia di un uomo morto nella più completa solitudine - e ciò che vede - la storia di un suo momento di passata felicità. A policeman enters a council house, finds a body and some super8 tapes, and records an account of their recovery. In the meanwhile, the images of an apparently happy family on holiday are displayed on the screen. Cleverly playing with the gradual correspondence between words and images that creates a stronger and stronger connection between what viewers hear - the story of a man who died completely alone - and what they see - the story of a happy moment in his past. A found-footage detective story.
