Tijmen Hauer č un artista e regista di Amsterdam. Dopo aver conseguito la laurea alla Gerrit Rietveld Academy nel 2005, i suoi lavoro sono stati presentati a mostre e festival di cinema in tutto il mondo. Cortometraggi quali Daddy I'm Scared, Mtv Makes Me Want To Smoke Crack Too, Hit & Run, Oh Great Now Look What Happened e I Didn't Really Want To Go There stanno andando a formare un repertorio diretto e di grande impatto, che fornisce spunti di riflessione sulla societā contemporanea e sul posto dell'individuo al suo interno. Tijmen Hauer (1977, Amsterdam, The Netherlands) is an Amsterdam based artist and filmmaker. Since having graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in 2005 his work has been presented at film festivals and exhibitions around the world. With short films such as Daddy I'm Scared, Mtv Makes Me Want To Smoke Crack Too, Hit & Run, Oh Great Now Look What Happened and I Didn't Really Want To Go There, Tijmen Hauer is developing a direct and catchy oeuvre which reflects on contemporary society and the place of the individual within it. Hauer also works as a guest curator for the Filmbank, the Media Art Friesland Festival 2007 & 2008 and Theater Zeebelt and also as a freelance director and editor.
Gerbrand Burger studied political and cultural science and attended the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. After staying in New York as an artist, he was given a residence at The Ateliers, Amsterdam.
