One minute and fifty seconds. It is enough to say more than any book on the meaning of life.
And at the same time, to burst into uproarious laughter.
The animator is Matthew Walker - last year he took part in the international competition with the three-minute-long John and Karen, and this year he has presented and even shorter work. He also lent his voice to the protagonist of the film.

Matthew Walker è uno sceneggiatore, regista e animatore di Bristol. Ha curato sceneggiatura, regia e animazione di lavori per Arthur Cox e occasionalmente per Aardman.
Pur essendo nato a Londra, Matthew è cresciuto nel Lake District e poi in Cornovaglia, con sua grande gioia. Dopo aver concluso un corso propedeutico al Falmouth College of Art and Design ha studiato animazione alla University of Wales Newport, dove si è laureato con il film Astronauts.
La pellicola ha vinto poi dieci premi, tra cui quello per il miglior film realizzato da uno studente, ai British Animation Awards, e quello per il miglior film di laurea al Festival Internazionale di Animazione di Annecy. Matthew è tornato alla University of Wales Newport per un progetto che gli ha consentito di abitare un mese all'università e completare Operator con l'aiuto degli studenti.

Matthew Walker is a writer, director and animator based in Bristol. He writes, directs and animates things in the company of ArthurCox and occasionally Aardman. Although born in London, Matthew did most of his growing up in the Lake District and then Cornwall which was good. After completing a foundation course at Falmouth College of Art and Design in Falmouth he then studied Animation at the University of Wales Newport in Newport where he made his graduation film Astronauts.
Astronauts went on to win ten awards including Best Student Film at the British Animation Awards and Best Graduation Film at Annecy International Animation Festival. Matthew returned to the University of Wales Newport for a one month Animator in Residence scheme where he completed Operator with the help of the students. Matthew's other interests include tea, fig rolls and space.
