Un gruppo di ragazzi troppo bambini a una festa troppo da adulti, la scoperta troppo veloce delle droghe, dell'alcol, della violenza. Finale mozzafiato, come una canzone dei Sigur Ros.

Forse non c'entra granchè, ma questo video dei Sigur Ros rimane un punto di equilibrio perfetto tra orrore e bellezza, e in qualche modo rimanda a Smafuglar.

Had it been made in the US or in France, this brutal story would have seemed empty and trite. But it has been made in Iceland, where cruelty and beauty are tastefully mixed, and it thus becomes an intimate shot of looks, caresses, and reflections. A group of kids that are too innocent at a party that is too wild, and the sudden discovery of drugs, alcohol, and violence. With a breathtaking finale, like a song by Sigur Rós.

Maybe it doesn't have much to do with the film, but this Sigur Rós video represents a perfect balance between horror and beauty, and somehow it does remind of Smafuglar.
