Biografia - Biography:
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Neil McInnes started out in Toronto is an illustrator. He returned to Winnipeg to pursue his love of animation. He and partner Cathy McInnes directed many animated projects through their production company Audience Animation Inc. Neil Mcinnes has taught animation, design history and is currently teaching design at Red River College and continues to work with Cathy on independent projects. Their awardwinning short animated films Boardinghouse, Transformer, and Lovehound have shown internationally and been bought by television stations worldwide including the BBC, RTP Portugal and the Comedy Network. Cathy and Neil were both founding members of the Manitoba Society for Independent Animators Neil as past president and Cathy as past executive director.
