Biografia - Biography:
Simon has been working as an animator for a number of years. During that time he has developed his particular brand of observational comedy, while working with TANDEM co-founder and Oscar-winning director Daniel Greaves (Manipulation). Simon has animated on Daniels BAFTA nominated Flatworld and his BAFTA nominated Little Things before receiving the award for Best Comedy at the 2008 British Animation Awards for Cat-Man-Do. Most recently Cat-Man-Do won the award for Best Animation at the Très Courts International Short Film Festival. Let Me In, is his second of his films and has had over 5.6 million hits on youtube. His third film in the series is TV Dinner that had its world premiere on BBC 2's the Culture Show in mid July. Before being represented as a commercial director, Simon worked for 2 years as lead animator on Triffic Films popular series, 2DTV. Since rejoining TANDEM, Simon has directed a number of high-profile productions including campaigns for Marmite, Singapore Zoo, Microsoft and UNEP.
