Biografia - Biography:
A graduate of the Centro Universitario de Estudios Cinematográficos of UNAM, he specialized in documentaries and cinematography. In 2006, he received an Ariel award for Best Documentary Short for his film "Bajo la tierra". That same year, he directed the documentary feature "La Frontera Infinita", produced by the Instituto Mexicano de Cinematografía, with the support of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, the International Organization for Migration and the International Contemporary Film Festival of Mexico City. He is currently director of the "FraguaCine" production company, which makes documentaries.
