Jack Lucas è un disc-jockey radiofonico di grande successo. Seguendone alla lettera gli incitamenti, un suo ascoltatore compie una strage in un locale di lusso. Passano tre anni: Lucas sta con Anne e tira a campare. Conosce Parry, un barbone. Costui è un ex professore di storia, ossessionato dalla leggenda del Santo Graal. Jack Lucas is a very successful radio disc jockey. Prompted by his comments, a listener carries out a massacre in a posh club. Three years later, Lucas is on a relationship with Anne and just tries to get by. One day, he meets Parry, a tramp. He is an ex-professor obsessed with the legend of the Holy Grail. Parry has gone crazy after his wife has been killed in the massacre that has shattered Jack’s life, too. The DJ feels he has to help his new friend, and he tries to help him conquer Lydia, the blonde girl Parry has fallen in love with.
