This is the third episode of the animated ÒsteampunkÓ series, an auteur project that draws inspiration from the oriental shadow play. The first episode has won more than 22 international awards and has been elected one of the yearÕs best flash animations.
Note di regia / Director's Statement
Bendito Machine references Oriental Shadow Theatres; shows that were intended in the past to ward off demons. They showed religious and spiritual fables played by black silhouettes shown against a bright background that has been used by many Asian cultures, principally in Indonesia, China, India and Barcelona.
