"Francis Cooper aveva sempre pensato che suo padre sarebbe morto prima di sua madre". La voce narrante introduce così lo spettatore alle tre storie che il cortometraggio racconta, tutte legate in modo ironico, a tratti esilarante, alla morte. Il ritmo che la voce imposta è incalzante, e noi rotoliamo insieme a lei verso una serie di avvenimenti incontrollabili. E l'essere umano, quando non riesce a controllare il mondo attorno, ha comportamenti assai scomposti...
"Francis Cooper had always thought his father would die before his mother". With these words the speaking voice introduces to the spectators the three stories of this short film, which are connected to death in an ironic, at times hilarious way. The rhythm set by the voice is driving, so that we roll with it towards a series of uncontrollable events. And human beings behave very erratically when he can't control the world around them.
Note di regia / Director's StatementI wanted to make a film about people who were confused about their feelings after a traumatising incident. About how people can feel outcast because things haven't happened the way they thought they would.

Biografia/Biography:
Felix Massie was born by the sea in the south of England in 1985. He got interested in animation as a child and in 2004 moved to Newport University in Wales to do an animation degree. He graduated in 2007, winning University awards for best overall film and script for his graduate film Keith Reynolds can't make it tonight which was later screened in festivals around the world including Annecy, Ottawa, Encounters and Sundance. Since then he has been working as a director at Arthur Cox in Bristol.
