Qualcun altro uno scherzo molto furbo e molto divertente.
According to the author Mark Boswell, artist and teacher at the Pratt Institute in New York, this film is a "tragic post-modern comedy". It is indeed hard to describe a film that is so close to being a work of art itself and offers several levels of interpretation, from refined entertainment to intellectual mockery. It is a film that ponders the overdose of information about the topical "issue of environmental sustainability", starting from images that belong to film classics, such as Sunset Boulevard, Nanook of the North, Killing, Alphaville, and Godard's Breathless. Without modifying the original sound and video, Boswell puts subtitles that ironically alter the course of the story. Some may define it "situational", whereas others may see it as a clever and funny joke.
Note di regia / Director's StatementThis is a 21st century counter-cinema experimental short film that utilizes certain tactics derived from the theories of Situationism and Dada.
