What really happened on 11th September 2001? What guided the decisions of the Bush administration? What changes have come about with Obama? With contradict ions and covering up of events, will we ever know the truth?
Note di regia / Director's Statement
This documentary portrays people who try to stand up for their dignity, and families who are thorn apart by the state of Denmark. In 2009 the Danish government decided to expel a large group of refugees from Iraq, many of whom had been in Denmark for years, some with children born in Denmark. A group of around 70 tried to take refugee in a Church in central Copenhagen. They feared for their life and future if they returned to Iraq. The case became a major political and public issue in Denmark. After 3 months the Danish government one night sent armed police forces into the silence of the church and cleared it by power. The churches of Denmark were no longer a safe and sacred room. My movie is a statement of how the state of Denmark in august 2009 denied the possibility of human dignity.
