Sinossi / Synopsis
Lui è un tenore che ha perso la faccia e la voce. Lei, una femme fatale perturbante dal dito mozzato. Tornare ai fasti di un tempo non è mai facile, soprattutto se si è costretti a reinventarsi ogni giorno mascherandosi da coccodrillo fuori da un supermercato, oggetto di scherno dei bambini del quartiere. Una grottesca storia d'amore venata di voyeurismo, disagio, ironia ed inquietudine creata dall'estroso animatore estone Kaspar Jancis.

Going back to past glories is never easy, especially if you are forced every day to reinvent yourself disguised as a crocodile in front of a supermarket and made fun of by the neighbourhoodÕs children. A grotesque story veined with voyeurism, malaise, irony and anxiety created by the talented Estonian animator Kaspar Jancis.

Biografia/Biography
Sin dall'infanzia, Jancis ama illustrare fumetti e scrivere brevi storie. I suoi primi lavori risalgono ai tempi del liceo e vengono proiettati in tv e durante vari concerti rock. Nel 1997, si trasferisce alla Scuola di Arti e Media di Turku per studiare animazione sotto la guida di Priit PŠrn. Debutta nel 1999 con il film Romance che ha poi partecipato a svariati festival Internazionali.
He has been interested since childhood in drawing comic strips and writing stories for which he made illustrations himself. He completed his first films at that school - the silent film "Dr. Maisarve and the Matshalka Case" (1996) and the cutout puppet film "Flight of the Little White Helicopter" (1996), which was screened at rock concerts and also on television. He transferred from the Pedagogical University to the Turku Arts and Media School in Finland in 1997 to study animation under the guidance of Priit PŠrn. He made his debut film "Romance" (1999) in Turku, and it has participated in several international film festivals.
