Sinossi / Synopsis

Che cosa vede la nostra bocca? Cibo, bevande, baci e molto altro.

What does our mouth see? Food, drink, kisses and lots more. Everything that the English director Jospeh Ernst was able to film in his experimental film: the story of one night, probably, seen subjectively from inside the oral cavity. A film that reveals an unusual part of visibility, shot over five years, in Amsterdam, Bristol and London, with a specially created micro-camera. The result? A frenetic cinematographic experience which shows us the other side of a daily experience.

Note di regia / Director's Statement

"The story of Feeder is told without characters, locations or dialogue. Instead, it unfolds through all the different things someone puts it their mouth over the course of a day, and the sounds that these make. From brushing teeth in the morning, to eating and drinking the night away, what we consume always looks alluring to the naked eye, but to our bodies it can be repulsive. By simply turning the camera around to see events from inside the mouth, we see consumption in an entirely new light - what were once beautiful objects of desire or need, are suddenly, and instantaneously, transformed into something truly disgusting."
