Sinossi / Synopsis
Una mattina sul lago. Padre e figlio sono usciti a pescare insieme. Un momento tutto per loro, immersi nella bruma del mattino. Forte è l'impressione e l'attesa che qualcosa che devono dirsi da tanto possa finalmente uscire fuori, in quella situazione ideale di silenzio. È l ì che il padre comincia a parlargli di suo padre, di quando andavano a pescare. Un corto di grandissima intensità, opera di diploma di un regista turco ventitreenne.
A morning at the lake. Father and son have gone out fishing together. It is a moment all for them, swathed in the morning mist. There is a strong impression and expectation that something they have to say to one another can finally come out, in that ideal situation of silence. It is then that the father starts to speak about his own father and when they would go fishing together. A short film of very great intensity by a twenty-three year-old Turkish filmmaker.

"Dad's and son, which is the most epic and old story in the history of world. I tried to focus that popular theme and search possibilites how I explained the authority of father and what is the son's resistance. I've tried to create a symbolic atmosphere with lake and boat, and tested my cinematography skills on this physicologycial aspect."

Murat Uǧurlu graduated from METU College Lycee in 2004. He wrote in various numbers of magazines about literature. Currently, he is in his fourth year in Ankara University, Faculty of Communication.
