Sinossi / Synopsis
Helmut celebra i suoi 60 anni con la consorte, ma alla festa - piuttosto noiosa, in veritˆ - si presentano a sorpresa alcuni conoscenti... Un'esilarante serie di gag di cui è bene non rivelare il segreto. Un unico piano-sequenza lungo 12 minuti pieno di trucchi, scatole, buchi, finzioni, fondali... Tutto realizzato artigianalmente, anche se non ci si può credere. Ed è solo il film scolastico di uno studente 26enne della Filmakademie Baden-WŸrttemberg, da anni fucina di talenti, follie, fantasie smisurate.
Helmut is celebrating his diamond wedding with his wife, but some of their acquaintances turn up by surprise at the party - which is actually pretty boring. An exhilarating series of gags which it is better not to give away. A one-shot sequence 12 minutes long full of gimmicks, boxes, holes, fiction and backdrops... All done artisanally, although it is hard to believe. And it is only a student film by a 26 year-old from the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, which for many years has been a hotbed of talent, madness and disproportionate fantasy.

Biografia/Biography
Nicolas Steiner è nato nel 1984 in una piccolo cittadina aulle Alpi svizzere. Ha lavorato come stagista per una stazione radiofonica. Nel 2005 e nel 2006 ha frequentato l'European Film College in Danimarca e in seguito ha studiato per un anno scienze antropologiche, scienze politiche e cinematografiche all'Universitˆ di Zurigo. Da ottobre 2007 sta studiando regia alla Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg a Ludwigsburg in Germania.
Nicolas Steiner was born in 1984 in a small town in the Swiss Alps. He worked as an intern at radio station. In 2005 and 2006 he attended the European Film College in Denmark and then studied for one year social anthropology, film science and politics at the Zuerich University. Since October 2007 he has been studying directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg in Ludwigsburg, Germany.
