Sinossi / Synopsis
Esiste un pianeta dove tutto va per il meglio: non ci sono delitti né ladri, non ci sono guerre né malattie. Un pianeta quasi perfetto, almeno per lo spettatore, perchˇ ¸ abitato, kafkianamente, solo da gentilissimi scarafaggi. Basta non abbellire un brano musicale mentre lo si esegue per finire in tribunale e capire qual è la vera condanna, tutta umana. Un film di animazione di Astutillo Smeriglia, autoprodotto, che conferma un talento: saper creare mondi che raccontano, tra risate surreali, del nostro.
There is a planet where everything goes very well: there is no crime, there are no thieves, there is no war and no disease. The planet is almost pefect, at least for the viewer, becuase it is inhabited, in Kafkaesque style, only by very kind beetles. You must just not embellish a piece of music as you play it to end up in court and understand the real - completely human - condemnation. An animated film by Astutillo Smeriglia, self-produced, which confirms a talent: being able to create worlds which talk about our own world, between surreal laughter.

Biografia/Biography
Astutillo Smeriglia ¸ nato a Pavia nel 1972. Laureatosi in Astronomia a Bologna nel 1998, ha lavorato alcuni anni presso l'Osservatorio Astronomico di Arcetri e ha insegnato Fisica e Matematica a Firenze. Dal 2007 si occupa di animazioni e montaggio. I suoi cortometraggi Qualcosa di mai visto (Something Never Seen Before) e Il giorno del Jujitsu (Jujitsu Day) sono stati selezionati in numerosi festival nazionali e internazionali. Astutillo Smeriglia was born in Pavia on December 20, 1972.He graduated from University of Bologna with a degree in Astronomy in 1998. For some years he worked at the Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory and teached Physics and Mathematics in Florence. He starts his activity as animator and video editor in 2007.His short animated films Qualcosa di mai visto, Something Never Seen Before and Il giorno del jujitsu - Jujitsu Day participated in many Italian and international film.
