Norm detesta fare l'addetto alla sicurezza e dover rincorrere piccoli vandali al centro commerciale. Suo figlio ha sei anni e quando va a trovarlo rimane subito conquistato dal suo berretto da poliziotto. Papà è un poliziotto che affronta mille pericoli per salvare la gente! Da quel momento, anche per Norm è così. Basta un attimo, e non è più possibile uscire dalla parte che tuo figlio ti ha assegnato. Non puoi deluderlo. Anche se ben presto la situazione rischia di sfuggirti di mano...

Norm hates being a security guard and having to chase after young delinquents in the shopping centre. His son is six years old and when he goes to see him he is immediately fascinated by his policeman's cap. Dad is a policeman who faces a thousand dangers to save people! And for Norm it is like that from then on, too. It only takes a second and you can no longer get out of the part that your son has given you. You can't disappoint him. Even though very soon the situation risks getting out of control...

Raised in Sumter, South Carolina, John began acting at a young age, performing opposite Beau Bridges in NIGHTJOHN (1995). He slowly gravitated toward positions behind the camera, and in 2004 his University of South Carolina thesis film debuted at the Universidad del Cine Festival in Buenos Aires. John recently earned his MFA in Directing from the American Film Institute (AFI), where he received the Irwin and Sheila Allen Endowed Scholarship for Directing, the Richard P. Rogers Award, the Franklin J. Schaffner Award, and the 2008 Fuji Film Grant. He was selected by his peers to speak at graduation alongside keynote speaker Clint Eastwood. He has written and directed sixteen short films and commercials, including PATROL, which was selected for dramatic competition at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and was a national finalist in the Student Academy Awards. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
