Il film gioca in un costante contrasto di solitudini estreme, due mondi che si avvicinano, si scontrano senza mai attrarsi e si allontanano senza lasciar traccia di se nell'altro. I colori di una Istanbul innevata fanno da sfondo ad un film che ci parla di incomunicabilità e aridità del presente.
Two men, each alone in their own way. The intellectual Mahmut who watches porno films dreaming of making a film like Tarkowski and his cousin Yusuf, an unemployed country boy who comes to the city in search of fortune. The film plays in a constant contrast of extreme solitudes, two worlds that approach one another and clash but without ever being attracted and move apart without leaving any trace on the other. The colours of Istanbul under the snow form a backdrop to a film about the non-communicability and aridity of the present.
