Per essere nero e vivere a Rosarno bisogna avere il sangue verde. Come spesso accade, l'attenzione mediatica si concentra sul qui e ora, a volte distorcendolo, senza interrogarsi sul poi. Andrea Segre prosegue il suo percorso nelle storie di migranti dopo a sud di Lampedusa e come un uomo sulla terra segue il destino di alcuni delle migliaia dei raccoglitori di arance cacciati in seguito all'escalation di violente tensioni dovute alle disumane condizioni nei campi di lavoro. La polizia dopo aver scortato i lavoratori fuori dalla cittadina in rivolta, li ha scaricati nel vuoto dell'incertezza. Alcuni hanno lasciato l'Italia, altri si sono dati ad altri lavori, altri ancora sono tornati nel luogo del dolore. Un mosaico di testimonianze sulle cause che hanno generato quelli che verranno ricordati come i moti di Rosarno.
You have to have green blood to be black and live in Rosarno. As often happens, the media turns its attention on the here and now, at times distorting it, without asking questions about the consequences. Andrea Segre continues his stories of migrants after A sud di Lampedusa and Come un uomo sulla terra and follows the fate of some of the thousands of orange pickers chased out after the escalation of violent tension due to the inhuman conditions in the work camps. The police, after escorting the workers away from the town in revolt, dumped them in a void of uncertainty. Some left Italy, others took different jobs and others went back to the place of pain. A mosaic of eye-witness accounts on the causes which generated what will be remembered as the Rosarno uprising.
