Sinossi / Synopsis
Nel ghetto di Jersey City tutti lo chiamano Ghost Dog, il cane fantasma. Taciturno e misterioso, vive sul tetto di un palazzo, assieme a una colonia di piccioni ammaestrati. Ha impostato la sua intera vita ispirandosi all'Hagakure, la "regola del samurai", e lavora come killer al servizio di un mafioso italoamericano. Nessuno sa dove trovarlo, e non ha amici, ad eccezione di un gelataio che non parla la sua lingua. In una "missione", Ghost Dog uccide un gangster che ha una relazione con la figlia di un potente boss, ma la ragazza assiste all'omicidio, scatenando l'ira dei capi mafia, che lo vogliono morto. Ma uccidere Ghost Dog non sarà così semplice...
In the ghetto of Jersey City, everybody calls him Ghost Dog. Taciturn and mysterious, he lives on the roof of a building with a colony of trained pigeons. He has organized his whole life around the Hagakure, the "rule of the samurai", and works as a killer in the pay of an Italian-American Mafioso. Nobody knows where to find him and he has no friends with the exception of an ice-cream seller who does not speak his language. On a "mission", Ghost Dog kills a gangster who is in a relationship with the daughter of a powerful boss, but the girl is a witness to the murder, triggering off the fury of the Mafia bosses, who want him dead. But killing Ghost Dog won't be that simple...
