A few months from the end of the World Cup, through filmed reconstructions, archival footage and interviews of witnesses and experts, the documentary tells the adventurous and mysterious story of the Rimet Cup, the ancestor of the World Cup, stolen on more than one occasion and always found. Great players from the past are also given an opportunity to speak. Two kilos of gold hammered into shape by the inventor of the World Cup in 1929 and awarded, after three victories, to Pel's Brazil in 1970.
