A small sheltered village on the Japanese coast is at the centre of an investigation on dolphin fishing (in other words, their massacre). What laws regulate (or do not regulate) this activity? What are the political/economic machinations that let Japan infringe all the ethics of ecology? What are the consequences for those who decide to start an investigation? Animals deprived of their rights and the many repercussions on the health of people and the whole ecosystem are studied in the Oscar-winning film for the Best Feature Documentary, which combines with the lucidity of an investigation by the militant press the pace of an unusual - and all too real - spy story.
