"Changgo" è una breve incursione nel mondo della musica tradizionale coreana Samulnori. Il film segue la pista scandita dal Changgo, il tamburo doppio a clessidra, uno dei quattro strumenti tipici del Samulnori, le cui tracce portano al maestro Kwang-Soo Lee e al suo discepolo Gyeong-Seo Saun. Questi artisti usano il corpo nella sua interezza per suonare i loro strumenti, il suono viene dal cuore e le bacchette si muovono così velocemente da essere impercettibili allĠocchio. Il suono del changgo guida anche la scoperta di altri ritmi, quelli più pacati delle ordinarie occupazioni nella vita quotidiana nella Corea del Sud.
"Changgo" is a short dive into the world of traditional Korean music, Samulnori. Following one of the four instruments, the two sided drum: changgo, we learn about this fascinating music and meet one of their most talented musicians, Master Kwang-Soo Lee and his former student Gyeong-Seo Saun. These artists use their entire body to play their instruments with as much heart as possible , moving the drum sticks faster than the eye can see. Guided by the rhythm of the drum we discover the rhythm in ordinary deeds of daily life in South-Korea.
