Due lumache meccaniche si incontrano nella foresta. È mezzanotte e il chiaro di luna bagna d’argento i rami degli alberi tutt’attorno. Dopo una breve fase di studio reciproco inizia una finta lotta che si risolve in un leggero e sensuale gioco amoroso. Un’ombra scura appare dietro agli amanti: un uccello anch’esso meccanico li colpisce col becco proprio nell’istante in cui stanno per raggiungere il culmine dell’estasi, per poi volare via nel buio della notte.

Two mechanical Snails meet in the forest. It is midnight and the silvery moonlight drips trough the branches of the surrounding vegetation. After a short phase of noticing each other, a pretended fight starts that raises up to a gentle sensual amorous game. A dark shadow appears behind the lovers: a mechanical bird hits the snails with his beak just as they are on the verge of their climax, and flies away in the dark night.
