Il film si articola intorno alla figura ottuagenaria di Wendo Kolosoy, aka "Papa Wendo", leggenda vivente della rumba congolese, e documenta la circoscritta ma ricca scena musicale della Repubblica Democratica del Congo, che produce uno dei rari messaggi di speranza nel silenzioso caos della guerra civile.
The film portrays Wendo Kolosoy, aka "Papa Wendo", a living legend (now in his eighties) of Congolese rumba, and depicts the small but active music scene in Congo, thus conveying a rare message of hope amid the civil war's silent chaos.
