Raphael D. È seduto in un piccolo ristorante cinese di Berlino con gli ultimi soldi in tasca. Oggi sembra che tutto vada per il verso sbagliato. Così decide di giocarsi tutto e di tentare il colpo della vita. Ma nel frattempo il destino ha in serbo per lui qualcos’altro. Mentre torna a casa, infatti, dopo aver rapinato una banca, proprio mentre si rende conto della sfortuna che ancora una volta sembra accanirsi contro di lui, bussano alla porta. Si aspetta che già la polizia lo abbia trovato, ma in un attimo tutto cambia.
Raphael D. sits in a small chinese Restaurant in Berlin with his last money in his pocket. Everything goes bad for him on this day. So he decides to take his own fortune in his own hands. But in the meantime destiny has made other plans. When he comes back home from robbing a bank he realizes his misfortune and despairs. When it knocks on the door he expects the police to come and arrest him but everything turns out differently...
