Water Brings Life into Life
Wasser bringt Leben ins Leben

Thorin Julian Oess AUT DEU 2013 HD 2

An older married couple rediscovers their livelyness in contact with water. We tried to realize a film with very little money. The actors are non-professionals. The director produced the film as a contribution to Viva con Agua Austria, a non profit organisation that is engaged in one of the biggest challenges of the 21th century: acces to drinking water.

Jennifer Baichwal Edward Burtynsky CAN 2013 HD 90

A journey round the world in search of signs, in awe-inspiring dams and religious rites, of the eternal battle/dependency/relationship between man and water. Extraordinary technique and spectacular footage, in a film that is already a touchstone in the description of the landscape through film.

Josh Chertoff Steve Girard USA 2013 HD 2

The bar of nonsense is raised higher than ever for a film in which a man, rapping in front of a mirror, cuts off his head and uses it to masturbate, while neo-Nazi dinosaurs and improbable cartoons burst out of the pipes of the bath.

Why We Fight
Why We Fight

Eugene Jarecki USA 2005 HD 98

A statement and a question. The choice is not casual: the title of the film which won the Grand Prix of the Jury at Sundance in 2005 again uses the title of the propaganda documentaries made by Frank Capra in 1945.

Mirai Mizue JPN 2014 HD 8

Made from 24 images a day for 354 days, it is a fluid kaleidoscope of forms and colours ‘as long as a year’ that is an homage to the ‘wonder of animation’ in its purest form that dazzles, stuns and delights.
Wurst
Wurst

Carlo Vögele LUX 2014 HD 6

On a crowded beach of sausages tanning themselves, steaks swimming in the sea, salamis barbequing with chickens among the dunes, Fräulein Wurst tries to resist the advances of a lifeguard. An irresistibly ironic mini world that pokes fun at Nineties pop icons.
