Potrà mai uno spettatore percepire l’orgoglio che un operatore ecologico prova nel portare a termine il suo lavoro? Per un momento, potrà riuscire a cogliere i suoi pensieri e le sue emozioni? È proprio questo che il corto vorrebbe trasmettere, poiché molti pensano che la vita di chi fa quel mestiere sia povera di poesia. Ma se un secondo della sua esistenza fosse dilatato a tre minuti, forse diventerebbe più poetica? Chi guarda, comprendendo quanto è ricco un secondo di vita, potrà mai comprendere quella vita? O il senso della vita stessa?

Can the viewer sense the pride the garbageman has in his job? For a moment, can one possibly grasp the life, the thoughts and emotions of a garbage man? For most of us, a garbageman does not live a life rich in poetry. If we spend 3 minutes to live a second, could a garbageman become more "human"? If if we can understand better the fullness of a second, can one better understand a life? Life itself?
