i bambini al festival This year the Milano Film Festival dedicates a whole day to children aged between 6 and 12 years. It begins at 11 am at the Teatro Strehler with the screening of Italian and foreign short films produced either by children or by professional filmmakers and ends at 7 pm with the Brass Band concert.
A performance will entertain children having lunch with their parents in front of the Piccolo Teatro.

Schedule Saturday, 11 September
11 am – 12:30 pm
Screening of short films at the Teatro Strehler
12:30 pm – 2:30 pm
Lunch with parents. Entertainment with Macchina Creativa

2 pm – 6 pm
“Anima in pongo”(Plasticine soul): children experiences the production of a short plasticine animation film (stop motion). A play, in which children try to elaborate their perception of space, form and time in order to create a character which will then move through a series of different frames. Booking is compulsory.

“Ombre magiche”(Magic shadows): a group of children can enjoy a visual experience as they create a sort of “film animation”. A performance representing the beginning of cinema, with moving images produced by children that play with their own shadows. Free entry

6 pm – 7 pm

“Children’s Theatre” with Luca Uslenghi, Giochi del Sole

Screening + Afternoon snack: € 2,50
”Anima in pongo” workshop: € 5

Booking
Applications to take part to the workshop must be sent to info@milanofilmfestival.it. Please include: name and surname of the child and the parents, child’s age, e-mail address, telephone number. Confirmation will follow.

Babysitting A babysitting service is available from 7 pm to 11 pm for parents going to the evening screening. Qualified personnel will entertain the children with different activities, from drawing to music.

for a child: € 10 per evening, inclusive of two free entrances for the screenings
for two children: € 15 per evening, inclusive of two free entrances for the screenings
for three children: € 20 per evening, inclusive of three free entrances for the screenings
