Teatro Strehler

It is the main venue for the screening of in-and out-of-competition films. Since 2000, in the Sala Grande (seating almost 1000), in the Scatola Magica, and in the Sagrato have taken place screenings, meetings with filmmakers and guests of the festival, workshops, concerts and DJ sets.

Teatro Studio

The theatre will host meetings and screenings of out-of-competition films. As one of the most fascinating locations, it is the most suitable for special screenings combined with meetings or performances by guests. Here there's also the State (T)error Area, dedicated to one of the main sections out of the festival competition with a daily program of screenings and meetings.

Parco Sempione

It will be the second festival hub, with two wide areas for outdoor and indoor screenings. Bar-trattoria and all the days from 19 p.m musical aperitif.

Anteo Spaziocinema

It was back in 1999 when the Cinema Anteo hosted an historic edition of Milano Film Festival, at the time still called Cortometraggio. Many things have changed since then, but this place remains a lighthouse for all the auteur cinema lovers. Anteo Spaziocinema will host the screenings of the Retrospective Jonathan Demme, the projections of the International Feature films competition, the Focus verniXage and all the special events in 3d.

Auditorium San Fedele

Quality is the key element of the Auditorium San Fedele, an historic site for film distribution and research. Recently restored, it will host the screenings of the film section The Outsiders, the projections of the International Feature films competition, the Tribute to Randall Poster and the documentaries of State (T)error.

Rosetum

The cinema is open and belongs to the entire city. Always keeping in mind this idea, the 16th edition of Milano Film Festival decentralized its center of gravity towards the Rosetum Cinema. It will host, in the central week of the festival, the projections of the International Feature films competition, the film section The outsiders, the documentaries of State (T)errors and one day of Delighted to meet you, immigrant.

During the two festival weekends Milan's aquarium will host milano film festivalino, our film festival for children. From morning to night, the little festival-goers and their parents will not only discover a place that has always been a children's favourite, but also get the chance to take part in screenings, workshops and games, and discover new things.
